Introduction

At ZiMoney Pty Ltd (ACN 683 562 996), protecting the security of our customers, systems, and data is a top priority. We comply with Australian cybersecurity and privacy standards, and we continuously improve our controls to safeguard against fraud, money laundering, cyber threats, and unauthorised access.

1 Transaction and Account Security

• All transactions are encrypted using 256-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

• We monitor transactions in real time to detect and block suspicious or unusual activity.

• Independent security reviews and penetration testing are conducted regularly.

2 Account Verification

• All new accounts undergo verification checks, including identity, email and mobile confirmation.

• We partner with trusted global providers to validate identity and financial details securely.

• Ongoing monitoring helps us detect unusual account activity and take swift action if needed.

3 Password & Login Protection

• ZiMoney accounts are protected by secure login and password requirements.

• We recommend strong passwords (minimum eight characters, including numbers, upper and lower-case letters).

• Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available and strongly encouraged for added protection.

4 Fraud and Scam Prevention

• We actively monitor for fraud and scams targeting our customers.

• ZiMoney will never ask you for your password, PIN, or full card details via email, SMS, or phone.

• We educate our customers to:

• Avoid sending money to strangers.

• Be cautious of offers that sound “too good to be true”.

• Recognise phishing emails or fake websites pretending to be ZiMoney.

5 Recognising Suspicious Emails or Websites

• Genuine ZiMoney websites are always hosted on: https://zimoney.com (and official subdomains).

• If you receive an email or SMS asking for login or payment details, treat it as suspicious.

• Do not click on unknown links or open attachments from untrusted sources.

6 How You Can Protect Yourself

• Enable 2FA on your ZiMoney account.

• Use strong, unique passwords and update them regularly.

• Keep your computer and mobile devices updated with the latest security patches.

• Install reputable antivirus and anti-malware software.

• Never share your login details or verification codes with anyone.
